DAY 01 JAYAPURA ARRIVAL (Lunch, Dinner)
The 5 Day Jayapura, Sarmi & Wakde Island War Memorial Tour is a great tour combining the opportunity to see the war memorials and the remains of many of the World War II areas and bases as well as seeing the beautiful environments and the fascinating cultures of this tribal land. You will begin with a pick up form your hotel in Jakarta or Bali where you will be taken to the airport and make the flight to Sentani of Jayapura and check into the Santani Indah Hotel where you will see the local gardens and eat and sleep at your hotel.

DAY 02 JAYAPURA - SARMI MEMORIAL TOUR (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
On the second day you will eat breakfast and then fly by charter to Sarmi where you will see the Japanese monument and take part in the memorial activities seeing all of the areas of interest related to the war. You will eat lunch at the Losmen and after this there is a 2 hour hike through the dense forest to see the Japanese remains in the centre of the jungle around the Warsa Village where you get a real taste of the culture before staying in a guest house in the area.

DAY 03 SARMI - WAKDE ISLAND MEMORIAL TOUR (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The third day of the 5 Day Jayapura, Sarmi & Wakde Island War Memorial Tour offers the chance to travel by motorized canoes to the Wakde Islands which will take around 2 to 3 hours. Traveling this way gives you an idea of how people get around in the area, this is the modern life for these people and you can experience just how close it is to the traditional life that has remained unchanged for many years. You will see the remains of the World War II Japanese Airport as well as the caves and you will learn about the history surrounding the area particularly during the war period. You will then sail back to Samai where you will eat dinner and stay overnight at a simple guesthouse.

DAY 04 SARMI - JAYAPURA MEMORIAL TOUR (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The fourth day of the 5 Day Jayapura, Sarmi & Wakde Island War Memorial Tour begins as usual in the hotel where you will eat breakfast and prepare for the day. You will flyby a charter flight back to Jayapura which will take around an hour. When you land you will be able to visit the Doyo Airport and the Monument at the Abe Pantai (beach). Here you will learn more about the involvement of this beautiful area in the War and you will take part in other activities. After this you will dine and sleep in the comfort of your hotel

DAY 05 JAYAPURA DEPARTURE (Breakfast) 
On your final day you will wake up and transfer to the airport in time for your flight to your next destination. Depending on your plans and where you wish to travel to next, you may or may not have time to browse around the markets before you fly.
