Destination Information:
Discover Indonesia starting from Jakarta and finish in Bali. The Java Bali Overland Package is customized to give travelers more chance exploring the beauty of the Indonesia panorama, the diversity of its culture and the friendly people from different ethnic groups. This overland package takes 13 days featuring Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Solo, Bromo and Bali.

Jakarta
Jakarta is the national capital of Indonesia located on western part of Java and is one of the most populated cities in Indonesia. It is also the international main gateway connecting with major cities worldwide. Numerous international flight serves daily flight to Jakarta and domestic flights links to major cities and town within Indonesia.

Bandung
Bandung is the capital of West Java Province and is the 4th largest cities in Indonesia. The city is located around 128 kilometers southeast of Jakarta and is inhabited by more than 2,510,982 people.

Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta is also well-known as Jogjakarta located in the central part of Java Island. It is one of the provinces in Indonesia and is a special province governed by the Sultanate of Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat. It is one of the most famous travel destination both for domestic and international travelers.

Solo
Solo lies around 2 hours drive from the center of Yogyakarta and offers various choice of arts and crafts, paintings and many other traditional furniture.

Bromo
Lies in Tengger Caldera in East Java and is one of the most favorite tourist attraction in Indonesia. There are only few accommodation in Bromo without swimming pool. Restaurants are only a few serving Indonesian and continental foods.

Bali
The paradise island located to the east of East Java and to the west of Lombok Island. Bali is the star of Indonesia travel and tourist destination providing wide selection of tourist attraction, various choices of accommodation and nature tourist resort.

DAY 01 ARRIVAL JAKARTA

Pick up at Soekarno Hatta Airport – Jakarta and direct transfer to hotel for overnight. If the time permit make Jakarta city sightseeing. Hotel at Santika Premier Jakarta

DAY 02 JAKARTA – BANDUNG (B)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bandung with stop at Bogor to visit Bogor Botanical Garden. The Bogor botanical garden hosts more than 15,000 species of trees and plants and over 5,000 species of tropical orchids. Continued to Bandung via Puncak. Photo stops admire the Tea Plantation. DAY 03 BANDUNG (B)

Breakfast at hotel, then visiting Tangkuban Perahu, a smoulderring 2000 m wide, surrealistic volcano 1800 above sea level. Then continued to Ciater Hot spring with passing through the huge wonderful tea plantation. Here, you will be possible to take a bath in the hot natural water pool. Afternoon back to Bandung with stop at Padasuka Village to enjoy the Angklung (traditional bamboo instrument) performance at Saung Angklung Ujo. Hotel at Papandayan Bandung.

DAY 04 BANDUNG – YOGYAKARTA BY TRAIN (B)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to train staton of Bandung to take a morning executive train to Yogyakarta. Relax and enjouy your triip on air conditioned train. Mid afternoon arrival in Yogyakarta – Tugu train station. Transfer to your hotel in city center on horse cart called – andong. Accommodation at Santika Premier Yogyakarta.

DAY 05 CITY TOUR – PRAMBANAN (B)

Morning, get on local unmachine public vehicle called becak , explore the city of jogja with its taste. First visit cigar factory of Tarumartani owned by local government where you still find 100 year-old machine used in producing export quality cigars. See, smell, and taste the difference. Continued to city center direct go to the cental of Javanese culture – Kraton Yoyakarta, where the Sultan’s of Ngayogyakarta hadiningrat stay in. To learn Indonesia you have to learn about Javanese culture. And the center of the culture is in this palace. On certain day you could see the original traditonal performance such as dance, puppet show, gamelan music etc. From Kraton, visit Taman Sari – a ruin of water castle, where it used as leisure park for king’s family. Ngasem Bird market is your next destination after Taman Sari. Then, drive to local home industry of Batik and Silverware for its process and collections. Drive to Prambanan , visit the most beautiful Hindu Temple – Prambanan temple. Continued to Borobudur via cangkringan village. If the time permit, viewing the still active volcano – Mt. Merapi in distance in Kaliaddem village. Arrival in Borobudur. Accommodation at Manohara Hotel.

DAY 06 BOROBUDUR SUNRISE – VILLAGE TRIP (B)

Break the morning by admiring the sunrise at the top of Borobudur temple. Continued with exploring the temple for more experience. Back to hotel for breakfast and rest. Then, explore the village surround the temple including visit mendut and pawon temple nearby. Check out hotel. Drive to Wonosobo via village route. Arrival in Wonosobo – make a town sightseeing and check in hotel KRESNA 3* for overnight.

DAY 07 DIENG PLATEAU (B)

Early morning, drive to Dieng Plateau, and exploring the oldest Hindu temple complex in Java will be enjoyed and visited. Some still active craters and color lakes are the next visits. While taking a deep breath of morning fresh air, you could enjoy the morning life of Dieng’s people starting their work in their vegetable plantation. On the way to hotel, it is possible to stop at tea plantation and tea factory for more exploration. Check out hotel. Drive to Salatiga – via Ambarawa with visit Gedongsongo temple complex at Ungaran Hill. Arrival in Salatiga check in GRAND WAHID SALATIGA 3*

DAY 08 SOLO (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive to Solo city for Solo city tour visit Mangkunegaran Palace, Triwindhu Antique Market, Gamelan / Gong maker at bekonang. Kampong Batik Laweyan Local home industry of Batik at Laweyan. Check in hotel NOVOTEL SOLO 4*. Free program

DAY 09 SUKUH – KEDIRI (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Morning, we travel on through lovely countryside to discover the mystery of the 14th century Sukuh temple. Next, we go on up scenic, Winding Mountain road to another 14th century Hindu temple at Cetho to enjoy the beauty of its peaceful surroundings. Then, direct drive to Kediri – a small city in East Java province which famous with ciggarete factory ‘gudang garam’ . Stay Overnight at BUKIT DAUN Hotel 3* on highland.

DAY 10 KEDIRI – MALANG (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel. Today we will explore Gunung Kelud (Mt. Kelud) with beautiful scenery (please see detail enclosed). Then, drive to malang with stop off visit Panataran Temple in Blitar. Arrival in Malang , make a city sightseeing of Malang. Overnight stay SANTIKA MALANG 3*

DAY 11 MALANG – BROMO (B)

Start your journey at 02.00 AM to Tosari via rogojampi. At tosari Bromo change your coach to local jeep and driver to Pananjakan to enjoy the beauty of nature and the splendid sunrise. Then proceed to Mt. Bromo crater through the shimmering sea of sand (horseback riding included). Then back to your coach and driveback to Malang for free program. (breakfast box). PM free program. DAY 12 MALANG – BANYUWANGI (B)

After having breakfast and taking a bath in hotel, we take a drive to Banyuwangi via southern route with some stops for photo taking and short visit at local village. And direct check in IJEN RESORT for overnight stay

DAY 13 MOUNT IJEN EXCURSION – DROP OFF BALI (B)

Early Breakfast at hotel. Early morning depart to the wholeday excursion to Mt. Ijen. Ijen Crater shows a special type of volcanic feature common to Indonesia, about 1 km in diameter and 175 meters deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue green in color, held back by a dam built many years ago by the Dutch, in order to keep the hot mineral, laden water from raining for the crop lands below. Drive to Bali. Crossing the Bali strait on regular ferry, and direct drive for drop off to your hotel in Lovina/pemuteran/nusa dua/kuta/sanur area.
