Gili Trawangan is a dessert beach located on west part of Lombok island. It is considered still preserve the best diving site compare to other Gilis, Gili Meno or Gili air. You will find no car in this island except the traditional horse cart on 2 car wheels known as Cidomo as the only transportation type of the island. Accessing the island, you can take a flight from Denpasar to Selaparang airport of Lombok then take a car to Teluk Kode harbour and proceed on a speed boat to the island.
But now, Blue water express offers you the shortest way to Gili Trawangan. Boarding from Benoa harbour south of Denpasar city and only take 2 hours, you can get the island. Very simple and journey to the island on a high power boat is part of adventure.
