Destination Information:
DAY 01 TIMIKA ARRIVAL (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The 8 Day Asmat Adventure begins with your transferal to the airport in Jakarta or Bali where you will fly to Sentani Airport in Jayapura before a second flight to Wamena. You will then check into a hotel and head to the Jiwika village to see the ancient mummies. You will then see the Dani tribes performing their mock war rituals and eat the traditional Papua hog roast before heading back to your hotel for dinner and the overnight stay.

DAY 02 TIMIKA – EWER - AGATS (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The second day starts with breakfast before transferring to Wamena where you will catch a charter flight to Ewer airstrip where you will next board motorized canoes and travel to Agats. Here you will check into another hotel and see the Asmat museum, the Syuru Village and the Asmat foundation. You will then spend the night in a losmen.

DAY 03 AGATS - BERITEN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
On day three of the 8 Day Asmat Adventure you will eat at the losmen ad then head on the canoes to Bertien Village where you will dine in a long house and row with local people up to Asmat areas of the jungle where there is much to see. You will then stay in the longhouse. 

DAY 04 BERITEN – OMANDESEP (B.Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
On the fourth day you will head off after breakfast to Omandesep by motorized canoes across the ocean passing 2 large rivers before arriving at the village where the Asmat people will welcome you. You will then eat lunch and walk through the swampy jungle where you will see pure Sago being processed. You can taste this interesting food as well as then paddling back to the village for your overnight stay.

DAY 05 OMANDESEP FULLDAY CEREMONY (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5 of the 8 Day Asmat Adventure offers traditional ceremonies and dances and then you will eat lunch. After this you will travel by the canoes to another Asmat village and join in with the catching of shrimp and fish before dining upon your catch with the local people. 

DAY 06 OMANDESEP - AGATS (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The next day you will see the local art of the Asmat people and have a chance to purchase certain items before eating and sleeping in a local house or school or at an inn. 

DAY 07 AGATS - TIMIKA (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The penultimate day of the 8 Day Asmat Adventure offers another canoe journey to Ewer Airport where you will then take the connection flight back to Timika. Here you will be relieved to have hotel accommodation and freshen up before heading to the traditional markets where you can shop for interesting items as well as food and other things. You will also be able to see all of the crafts that go on in the area and take a look around the sights of the city. 
You will stay overnight and dine in your hotel.

DAY 08 TIMIKA - DEPARTURE (Breakfast)
Heading to your next destination on the last morning of the 8 Day Asmat Adventure with free time depending on where you are flying to.
