Destination Information:
DAY 01 JAYAPURA - WAMENA (Lunch, Dinner)
The Combination Baliem Valley and Asmat Adventure begins with an airport transfer from where ever you are in Jakarta or the south of Bali to the airport where you will board a plane to Sentani Airport in Jayapura for another connecting flight to Wamena. You will first see the ancient mummies of the Jiwika village where you will check into a hotel with views of the Baliem Valley. You will then enjoy the traditional hog roast of Papua and see the mock war performances before having a lunch with sweet potatoes and grilled pork. You will then return to your hotel for your evening meal and overnight stay. 

DAY 02 WAMENA – EWER - AGATS (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The second day begins with breakfast before catching a charter flight to the Asmat Airstrip where you will then head by motorized canoes to the Agat region where you will then check into local accommodation for lunch and then trek to the Syuru Village to see the local culture. On this day you will be able to the Asmat museum and the Asmat foundation before returning to your hotel to dine and have your overnight stay.

DAY 03 AGATS - BERITEN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The third day of the Combination Baliem Valley & Asmat Adventure you will dine in a losmen and then travel b the motorized canoes for a few hours to reach the Beriten village. You will then have lunch in a local longhouse in Beriten. You will then paddle and row with the locals up the river to see some of the wildlife away from the village deep in the
jungle before coming back to your longhouse accommodation. 

DAY 04 BERITEN – OMANDESEP (B.L,D)
Prepare for the trip to Omandesep which will be reached by canoe passing large rivers and swampy jungles before stopping for lunch. You will see the Asmat people processing their favorite food, Sago which is taken from the Sago worm and is very high in protein. You will have the opportunity to try this as well as then later paddling back to the village for your diner and overnight stay.

DAY 05 OMANDESEP FULLDAY CEREMONY (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The fifth day of the Combination Baliem Valley & Asmat Adventure sees a chance to learn more about local culture with ceremonies, e.g., dancing and canoe racing and the supernatural Mbis you will then head by motorized canoes to another Asmat village where you will catch shrimp and fish with the locals before returning to cook and eat your catch. 

DAY 06 OMANDESEP - AGATS (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The 6th day of the Combination Baliem Valley & Asmat Adventure you will see the local arts made by the Asmat people and have a chance to buy some of these unique and rare crafts. You will then proceed by canoe to the Agats area where you will eat on the boat and see the town of Agats. You will then stay overnight at the Asmat Inn where you will enjoy a decent level of accommodation. 

DAY 07 AGATS - TIMIKA (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The second to last day is a trip back to the airstrip again by boat where you will fly to Timika for an open program of seeing the town and the markets.

DAY 08 TIMIKA - DEPARTURE (Breakfast)
Leave Timika for onward destination.
