Destination Information:
Day 01 Arrive Jakarta
The West Java Special Tour is a great trip allowing you to travel all around the main sights of west Java or what is known as Pasundan experiencing the way of life, the culture and all of the incredible crafts as well as the landscapes and animals. You will begin with West Java Special Tour on the first day in Jakarta where you will arrive at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport where you will transfer to a hotel for your first overnight stay in Jakarta.

Day 02 Jakarta – Tanjung Lesung Beach Resort (Breakfast)
On the second day you will then head to the Tanjung Lesung where you will see a local fishing Village of Panimbang where you will see the local markets and the traditional Javanese way of life. You will also have the chance to see the exotic gardens of Java which are agricultural and very important to the local people of the area.

Day 03 Optional Krakatau Volcano (Breakfast)
The third day of the West Java Special Tour begins as always with breakfast at your hotel before visiting Krakatau Volcano where you will see the smoldering remnants of the peak. From here you will then head to the island of Anak Krakatau which is 300 meters and growing. Here with special permission you will be able to see the volcano from close (weather permitting).

Day 04 Tanjung Lesung – Bogor (Breakfast)
After the fantastic day seeing the volcanoes from the boats you will then eat breakfast in your hotel and head to Bogor via Jakarta where you will stop at the Bogor Botanical Gardens which are almost 100 years old. There over 15,000 species visible today and after this great trip you will eat lunch and then you will have a village tour allowing you to see the social structure of a traditional village, the way of life and culture and also the beautiful sights.

Day 05 Bogor – Bandung (Breakfast)
The fifth day of the West Java Special Tour will take you from Bogor to Bandung via Puncak. This is a mountain resort area which offers incredible views looking out over the plantations and natural landscapes including tea plantations. You will visit Bandung after this going straight to Tangkuban Perahu crater where the active volcanoes create a great place to visit and take pictures. Here there is also the Sariater hot springs which is supposed to have healing powers and is certainly an enjoyable place to spend some time. From here with time permitting, you will head to the Cihampelas Blue Jeans factory which is great for picking up some cheap stylish jeans to take home with you. There are many other similar shopping opportunities in the area although at this point there will be little time so use it wisely!

Day 06 Jakarta – Departure (Breakfast)
The last day of the West Java Special Tour begins with a breakfast in your hotel and then an overland drive back to Jakarta in comfortable air conditioned transport. You will arrive at the Airport and then transfer to your next destination.
