Day 01 : Bali - Tambolaka (Waikabubak - West Sumba)
The 3 Days Sumba Village Weaving Tour is a great opportunity for those who are pressed for time to be able to see some of the great sights of Sumba as well as the weaving production from the expert weavers of Sumba to the markets where you can barter over this amazing cloth with is completely exclusive to the island of Sumba. You will begin straight after breakfast with a pick up from your hotel anywhere in South Bali and from there be transferred to the international airport where you will take an early internal flight to the Tambolaka Airport where you will then be met by your guide and escorted to the Mona Lisa hotel (or equivalent). Day 02 : Waikabubak – Waingapu - Rende

When you arrive in Waingapu you will check into another hotel known as the Hotel Merlin (or similar), here you will again have a chance to freshen up before heading over to the Pau Dan Rende Village where you will spend around 2 hours taking in the potency of the greatest stone grave and the traditional house and buildings. You will see the buffalo skin buildings as well as the traditional weaving of the Ikat cloth which is characterized by the authentic Sumbanese style and is made and sold all over the area.
